In a desire to develop its employees' skills, the Group set up "Bouygues Construction University" in 2008. More than a training centre, it offers programmes for Managers and for professionals in numerous support functions (e.g. financial control, project management; human resources, sales, etc.), as well as on themes of Group-wide strategic interest (e.g. sustainable development, property development, etc.). More than 1,200 employees took part in these programmes in 2010.

Continuous development of skills
Bouygues Construction University gives employees the opportunity to be proactive and to continue the learning process following a training programme thanks to an intranet site providing access to resources that are constantly updated - practical guidance for managers, videos of in-house and external specialists filmed during training courses, lectures, etc.
Spreading the network
The dynamism of Bouygues Construction University also results from sharing and networking. Employees who have taken part in a training programme can access a private online area where they can dialogue with other participants on their programme and consult updated versions of the training materials that were used. This space can also be used for discussions and knowledge-sharing trough forums that they can create and enrich on a voluntary and collaborative basis.
