Losinger Construction, the Swiss subsidiary of Bouygues Entreprises France-Europe, was the main contractor for the construction of the Learning Center at the Ecole Polytechnique de Lausanne. This 35,000 m² university campus houses a library, a training zone, social areas (restaurants, a function room, shops, etc.), cultural spaces and service areas.

The remarkable "wave-form" architectural concept with two superimposed open-sided arched shells, one larger than the other (the longer with an 80-metre span), posed a major technological challenge. The building has been awarded the Minergie label for low energy consumption.
